First of, let me just say that we had a great time at Bruar Falls, everybody there was very friendly and accommodating and the fact that it was so close to home made it even better. Special thanks to Clyde from TwentySevenMedia for setting this show up!

So this time our buddy Omar took some videos of us performing, here are a couple of moving images for you, you and you.

For this second installment of the Digital 7″ we decided to record some new songs for you, you and you. First up is Alexander, which we have played the last couple of shows. I finally recorded a proper version (weve had  a demo version in the trusty external hard drive for a month now). We do put a twist on it live, so if you have come out to the shows you’re more likely to notice the difference.

Second song is Clouds. This one just came out of the blue today, picked up the guitar, looked for a good tambourine sample and this came out in about half an hour.

Last is Soft Hands. This song has been floating in my head for a year now, drawing inspiration from my last summer experiences. I never had a chance to put the song together until recently.

I hope everybody enjoys the music, and be sure to check in for the next addition to the digital 7″!

Fresh Coast Documentary

The west coast in recent years has established itself as a premier breeding ground for some of the best battle rappers on the planet. MCs such as Okwerdz, Illmaculate, Thesaurus and  NoCanDo have been dominating many of the battle circuits here in the US. This documentary explores the history of the west coast battle scene and the diversity of styles that came out of the area. Good stuff, check it out.

YYT on Whiteboardjournal

I guess I’m a little late in posting this news (sorry, been a bit on a the busy side as of late). Shortly after our interview, Whiteboardjournal.com asked us to write an article about one aspect of music we enjoy whether artist, album, genre, scene, artwork… basically any topic relating to music. My choice was obviously Yura Yura Teikoku since I am still hung up on the fact they broke up. Check out my more in-depth article on why I love this now defunct band!
